Mobalpa opens fourth London franchise

Mobalpa opens store in Islington, adding to Richmond, Chelsea and Pinner

French kitchen furniture manufacturer Mobalpa has opened a franchise showroom in Islington, London, and plans to open a further five studios by the end of 2016.

It is the fourth London showroom for the manufacturer, following the opening of showrooms in Richmond, Chelsea and Pinner over the past two years.

Mobalpa Islington is owned by husband and wife duo Kwong and Vivien Thai who have backgrounds in construction, sustainability and insurance.

Speaking about the brand’s eco-credentials Kwong Thai commented: “As well as quality kitchen cabinetry straight from the French Alps and innovative designs, Mobalpa is a brand with an emphasis on protecting the environment through its use of renewable energy, recycling industrial waste and numerous environmental accreditations which really appealed to me.”

Cyril Raberin, UK franchise director at Mobalpa, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Kwong and Vivien to the Mobalpa team and see a presence for the brand in the Islington area. Mobalpa Islington is the fourth of our London and we’re looking forward to introducing the north London market to our French kitchen furniture.”
