Appliance manufacturer Haier Group has reported Chris Bennett, channel director – electrical specialists has passed away unexpectedly.

Haier Group channel director dies unexpectedly

He joined Hoover more than 13 years ago and during this time, the company reported he made a “very significant” contribution to the business.

A member of the UK senior leadership team at Haier, Bennett had recently been leading a project alongside the commercial and logistics teams.

After being unwell in 2019, he returned to the business in November 2020, but unexpectedly passed away on Sunday 4^th July 2021.

CEO at Haier UK and RoI David Meyerowitz said: “Chris will be greatly missed both personally and professionally by friends, colleagues and many in the industry.

“All of our thoughts and support are with Chris’ family at this extremely sad time, especially his wife and three young children.”

Friends and colleagues can make donations in the memeory of Chris to the Friends of Bristol Eye Hospital.
