Former BSH & Ireland MD to help formulate long-term strategy, following CEO departure

Former managing director of BSH UK & Ireland Uwe Hanneck will be working in a consultancy role with the Kitchen, Bathroom and Bedroom Specialists Association (KBSA), following the retirement of its CEO Graham Ball.

Hanneck will review the current KBSA proposition and help formulate a long-term strategy to “move forward and grow as a trade association and strengthen the competitiveness of its members.”

KBSA board member Richard Hibbert commented: “‘The Board are delighted that Uwe has agreed to take up the challenge and work with the Kbsa. Following Graham’s departure we were presented with an opportunity to look at what we do and how we remain relevant to the independent specialist and with Uwe’s experience and background, he was the ideal choice to head up this project.”

The CEO position will be revisted once the strategy has been agreed.

Hanneck set up Neff in the UK in 1972 and retired from the business at the end of 2010. He has chaired many industry bodies, including REPIC, AMDEA and KBB NTG and currently serves on the Advisory Board of German Industry UK.
