Michelin-starred Adam Gray talks to us about the B&H Cookery School

Swiss appliance manufacturer V-ZUG has supplied the appliances for B&H Kitchen (part of the Bourne & Hollingsworth Group) in Clerkenwell, London, which set to launch in March.

The cookery school, led by Michelin-starred chef Adam Gray, features combi steam ovens, induction and gas hobs from V-ZUG.

It will offer courses three times a week, offering both half and full-days, catering for up to 12 people. These will span subjects such as healthy eating, through to knife skills, baking, and butchery through to bread making for levels from novices to experienced cooks.

An advocate of healthy eating, and a regular contributor to Men’s Health magazine, Adam Gray stated his career under Bruno Loubert at the Four Seasons Hotel on Park Lane.

He then worked at Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons in Oxfordshire. From 2001, Gray worked as head chef at City Rhodes before opening Rhodes Twenty Four at Tower 42 in the city of London, during which time the restaurant achieved a Michelin star and three AA rosettes.

Gray opened his own award-winning Red Lion pub and Shires Cookery School in his home town of Northampton before joining Bourne & Hollingsworth as executive chef.
