Retailer Wren Living to donate 10% value of its sales to flood appeal
Recently rebranded kitchen, bedroom and furniture retailer, Wren Living is donating the equivalent of 10% of its weekly sales to help those affected by the UK floods.
The figure will include sales from its entire network of 47 stores, for the week of February 2 – March 1, 2014 , and 10% will be given to the UK Community Foundations charity, which is managing the Flood and Storm Appeal 2014.
Financial director of Wren Living, Mark Pullan said: “Wren Living is a family business. Over 1,800 people work for the company and we are all saddened by the problems facing those families who have been affected by the floods.
“We are conscious that as the television cameras leave, the devastation still remains and we are committed to playing our part in helping people through this crisis. Ours will be a significant donation towards the relief effort and we hope it makes a difference.”
