Michael Head now named chairman and Richard Evans takes development director role
British furniture manufacturer Crown Imperial has announced a selection of internal appointments within its management team, ahead of its 70th anniversary in 2016.
Taking the helm is Barry Head who has been appointed as managing director, taking over from his father, Michael Head who he has worked alongside for over 25 years .Michael Head will now step into the role of chairman.
Michael Head commented on the management changes: “2016 is set to be a momentous year for Crown Imperial with our anniversary and valuable team. I am delighted they will be taking us forward with a wealth of experience to support our specialist retailers for the next 70 years and beyond”.

As well as this, is has also been announced national sales manager Richard Evans has now been appointed as development director and will oversee company development. Evans has over 30 years’ experience in many areas of the company.
Sintered stone manufacturer Neolith has launched Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset, inspired by nature and classical architecture, and for use in kitchens or bathrooms walls, floors, in gardens or facades.
They belong to The New Classtone and Fusioncollections which interpret marble and natural stone, respectively, and boast Neolith’s antibacterial NeolEAT technology.
Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.
While the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey, with its rock formations formed by volcanoes and underground cities, has inspired Cappadocia Sunset (pictured below).
Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
