As part of its growth plans, UK manufacturer of water boosting solutions Salamander Pumps has appointed Carl Knowles as business development manager.

Salamander Pumps expands sales team

Having specialised in sales across the technology and manufacturing sector since he was 18 years old, Knowles previously employed at home safety specialist FireAngel.

He has worked across the UK with retailers and consumers.

In his new role, Knowles will drive awareness of Salamander Pumps, and its range of products across the North East of England and Scotland, working with merchants, installers and homeowners.

Speaking about his new role, Carl Knowles commented: “I’m excited to announce my new role at Salamander Pumps and the chance to collaborate with the sales team across the North East and Scotland.

“The Salamander Pumps team share my passion for innovation and building strong relationships within the industry.

“My aim is to enhance the customer journey for homeowners looking for a solution to low pressure in their home, as well as providing the tools and information installers and merchants need to continue working with us both effectively and efficiently.”

This announcement follows on from the appointment of Bryan Liddle as sales director.
