Doors, boards and fittings supplier Hill’s Panel Products (HPP) has appointed Henley Bailey as a digital technology specialist to its expanding website, video and creative team.
Bailey previously worked in the gaming industry, with experience at Sci Games, Eidos Interactive and Electronic Arts (EA).
He studied computer design and engineering in Surrey, and his first job involved designing touchscreens and programming computers and software for a building company.
Later, he developed a game called Rock 24 with a digital industry friend, which featured in games magazines. He also designed an app for making the best coffee.
Outside of work, Bailey enjoys climbing and mountain biking.
Commenting on his new role, Bailey said: “With HPP, I’m helping to develop the website, so customers will have a more streamlined experience. I will also produce more video and photography content.
“Video is increasingly important to explain and highlight the latest products, technical details and installation techniques to trade customers and installers in the furniture industry.”
This expansion follows HPP’s biggest investment to date, building a 19,000 sq ft warehouse.
