Cumbrian shower products manufacturer Kudos has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Tony Russ as national sales manager.

Cumbrian shower products manufacturer Kudos has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Tony Russ as national sales manager.

He joins the business to head up a new team of area sales managers supporting displaying showrooms and contractors.

Russ has extensive experience in the bathroom and kitchen sector, having previously worked for many established industry brands, most recently with Electrolux.

Commenting on his new role, Russ said: “I’m delighted to be joining Kudos who are currently enjoying both positive sales growth and support from their new parent company, the Ronal Group.

“We have lots of new products lined up over the coming months to deliver into the UK market and that will require the support of an extended team in sales.

“I’m very much looking forward to delivering these new products and growing the new team.”

Sales & marketing director for Kudos Nick Graville commented: “Over the past four years our customers have been supported by our eight-strong retail support managers (RSMs), all of whom provide technical and installation assistance.

“As we grow there is clearly a need for us to provide more sales support with a team of area sales managers who will work alongside the RSMs improving the depth of support and communication with our customer base.

“We are delighted that Tony Russ has agreed to join us to lead this new team.”

Kudos has been acquired by European SanSwiss and laid out its ambition to be the UK’s biggest enclosure and tray manufacturer.
