Kitchen door and component supplier Uform has appointed Philip Woolsey as general production manager.

Uform appoints general production manager

He will be responsible for the management and development of all production-related functions.

With over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, Woolsey has experience in business strategy development, product development and operations.

His previous roles include managing director of global packaging company Greiner and general manager of Huhtamaki in the UK, serving brands including Nestle, Pepsico and McDonalds.

Head of group operations Gary Hutton said: “We’re pleased to welcome Philip on board as general production manager.

“Philip will initiate and lead change in operational procedures, practices and cultures to help us maintain a world-class manufacturing operation.

“it’s an exciting chapter as we near the completion of a £3.4million expansion plan, which will feature additional paint line capacity and warehousing space to facilitate continued growth.

“Philip will be pivotal in terms of ensuring resources are in place to deliver operational plans and to ensure adherence to product quality improvement. We wish him every success in his new role.”

Uform has also recently expanded its category and marketing teams, with two appointments.
