Tile manufacturer and supplier Original Style, in collaboration with COAT Paints, has named Wildflower Rose its Tile of the Year 2022.

It features a “delicate yet lively” floral design, inspired by the wildflowers of the British countryside, and has been created to attract anyone with a love for the outdoors.

In fact, Wildflower Rose was influenced by the cottagecore trend, which was ignited during the summer of 2020 when rural walks were a welcome escape from lockdowns.

Designed and produced in Original Style’s factory, Wildflower Rose has been added to the Living range.

The wider collection also includes Gold and Violet options, but it was the “versatility and modern edge” of Wildflower Rose which led to it being named Tile of the Year 2022.

It can be styled to create a range of looks, whether contemporary or traditional.

New products and design manager at Original Style Jane Addis commented: “We spent many weeks of sketching and painting an abundance of wildflower varieties before working closely with our skilled production teams in order to bring these gorgeous tiles to life.”

Original Style has been nominating a Tile of the Year for the last five years, with the Deco Tayberry range named the tile of 2020.
