Appliance giant Whirlpool has launched the W Collection 4 Door fridge freezer (WQ9I FO1BX UK) with 6th Sense Live connectivity.

Finished in black stainless steel, the American-style fridge freezer can be controlled via a smartphone or tablet, thanks to the Whirlpool 6th Sense Live app.

Users can adjust and monitor settings, activate special functions, such as the fast cooling mode, as well as access advice for easy maintenance.

The 6th Sense Live app can help users effectively manage the contents of the fridge freezer by notifying users when food needs to be used by or when drinks are chilled to the correct temperature.

In addition, the app can also provide food storage tips, drinks’ recipe and populate a shopping list.

Boasting a Convertible Space compartment, which can be switched from fridge to freezer conditions, according to Whirlpool it can offer 33% more space for fresh fruit and vegetables

The compartment can be set at either 0°C, 4°C, 10°C, -7°C, -12°C or -16°C to -22°C.

Featuring advanced food preservation technology, the fridge freezer boasts Triple No Frost to prevent freezer burn.

It also features 6th Sense Precision Control which monitors temperature fluctuations and humidity levels within the fridge compartment to maintain optimum conditions to preserve food for longer.

Completing this top-of-the-range appliance is an LCD touch sensitive display screen and an in-door ice and chilled water dispenser.
