Following demand in the architectural and house building markets, Smeg has introduced Building Information Modelling (BIM) services.

Designers, architects and furniture manufacturers will be able to complete their projects using a BIM library and 3D files of Smeg appliances. Building Information Modelling and 3D files can be downloaded from the Smeg website.

BIM is a process for creating information on a construction project lifecycle and allows planners and architects to test construction plans and ideas in a virtual space to access practical feasibility.
