Neolith: Setting up UK subsidiary
UK warehouse and showroom will give assurance of reliability of supplyRead More
Kitchen sink and tap manufacturer Franke has been on a year-long journey to change the way it does business through developing closer relationships. It has redefined its distribution network, including online sales and now created a package to support the independent kitchen retailer. Managing director of Franke UK, Tracy Bamber explained: "It's basically about supporting independent retailers and giving them the confidence to sell Franke."
The More in Store campaign is based around a microsite, which allows retailers to sign up and receive Franke point-of-sale, provides permission to use the company's intellectual property rights and have access to a range of Expert events. There will be three or four Expert events running throughout the year, starting with an interactive workshop on showroom design.
Launched at the beginning of January, the campaign has already see 750 retailers sign up to the campaign "which was great and we were encouraged by that" said Bamber. However, the company expects by post show, the figure to be over 1,000.
An interview with Tracy Bamber and marketing director Neil Clark appears in the April issue of Kitchens & Bathrooms News.
