He was appointed by new CEO Mark Kooij of the International Coram Group, which is based in Eindhoven, Holland.

UK group managing director, John Blackburn commented on his role: “I have been impressed and motivated by the potential of both the UK operation and the international group. Whilst visiting the different companies with the group it quickly became obvious that we have an excellent team, with a real passion for the company and the products they design, manufacture and market.”

He continued: “Because The Coram Group has historically invested in new company resources including state-of-the-art machinery, research and development, its various brands haven’t suffered through the economic downturn like some, rather, it appears that it has built a huge brand loyalty which provides us with a perfect platform for growth. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my predecessor Peter Dimeloe for his dedication over the years and wish him a long and happy retirement.”
