Joins other GDHA appliance brands Stoves, Belling, New World and LEC
UK manufacturer Glen Dimplex Home Appliances (GDHA) has acquired Britannia Living for an undisclosed sum. A statement on the GDHA website states: “We are delighted to announce the acquisition of Britannia Living Appliances, a leading supplier of premium traditional and contemporary range cookers based in Blackpool, England.”
Britannia Living recently revised its entire range cooking collection and will join the appliance brands of GDHA, which include Stoves, Belling, New World brands and LEC.
In addition, the parent company GDHA also owns Morphy Richards, Carmen and Roberts brands, as well as Redring and Galaxy electric showers.

GDHA has a manufacturing base near Liverpool and has a distribution centre in Stoke-on-Trent.
Belling has been manufacturing cooking appliances for the past 100 years and was acquired by the Glen Dimplex Group in 1992.
In 2001, Glen Dimplex acquired Stoves, which has been manufacturing since 1920 and New World. The Led brand of refrigeration was added to the portfolio in 2005.
