Bathroom showroom takes over a famous Sheffield building

A bathroom retail showroom which only features UK brands has taken over a famous Sheffield building previously frequented by some of the country’s top entertainers.

iBath, run by Jane Hunter and her sister Isabella,  is housed on the site of the former Attercliffe Non Political Working Men’s Club, which in the 1960s and 70s welcomed the likes of Bobby Knutt, Marti Caine, Paul Shane, Charlie Williams, Lynne Perrie and her brother Dougie Brown.

The newly-renovated property houses a  showroom which features brands including Be Modern, Roman, Alliance, Silverdale, Tavistock, AKW and  Ideal Standard.

Managing director of iBath, Jane Hunter, said: “We are incredibly excited to bring our brand new business to Sheffield. Our philosophy is based on selling British made products at affordable prices, which is unique to this area and something we pride ourselves on greatly.”

She added: “We are lucky to have acquired such a unique building to house iBath. It is steeped in history, from its time as a working men’s club to becoming a nightspot, and is certainly a talking point for customers.”

iBath is also set to open its own dedicated mobility showroom, which according to the company, will be the only one of its kind in South Yorkshire.
