Italian tile manufacturer SCIS has established a partnership with Chinese company DongPeng Ceramics to distribute its mosaics.
DongPeng Ceramics will be the first Chinese ceramic tile manufacturer to distribute and sell SCICS mosaics and Vetrite glass slabs to its native market.

SCIS was established in 1987 by founder Maurizio Leo Placuzzi and is renowned for making mosaics from a variety of materials, using artisan manufacturing skills, in Italy.
More recently, the Italian tile manufacturer has also consolidated its Interiors division and is now engaged in projects such as super yachts and luxury hotels, through to public works and private residences.
The company has supplied mosaics to the Bellaggio Casino in Las Vegas, the Palazzo Versace Hotel in Australia and the Malahata Hotel in Morocco.
In addition, SCIS reports the Dong-Peng partnership could assist with product development, with the production knowledge of the Chinese company together with SCIS designs, brand and European sales.
