Symphony launches on-line kitchen and bedroom training

The training includes modules on the Linear, Gallery or Milano brands, which include newly launched products and accessories.

In addition there are also modules on Urbano bedroom brand including hinging wardrobes and Glide sliding robes.

Each module has been created in bite-size chunks and designed for those working in showrooms and who may struggle to find the time to attend day-long training courses.

Training Manager at Symphony Emma Banks said: “Each course will take between 1 -2 hours. And because there’s lots of information to take in – we’ve made them really interactive with lots of videos and images to help demonstrate all the technical information that’s needed in creating show-stopping designs.

“You get a certificate of completion at the end of each one, and we’re working with retailers to help them incorporate our training courses into their new starter training programmes.”

A recent graduate from Blaines Interiors said: “Symphony’s new online training has been a great success for me and my team.

“The modular approach across all the different courses is brilliant. Each module is short and easy to complete. Progress can be tracked simply and easily with the percentage bar.

“My team can drop in and out when time allows them.  It has helped my team gain knowledge and confidence in the products.”

Symphony offers training courses at the Symphony Training and Design Centre as well as in-house bespoke training courses delivered at the retailers’ premises.

Online training is available to all Symphony retailers and is available across its kitchen and bedroom brands, with plans to launch further modules this year.

Symphony recently saw its first participants complete its Principles of Kitchen Design course.
