Tristan Edwards joins the company from Coolectric
Glen Dimplex Home Appliances (GDHA), which has recently benefitted from a £3m Regional Growth Fund, has appointed Tristan Edwards as business development and OEM sales manager.
He joins the company from Coolectric, the UK importer for German refrigeration brand Liebherr, where he spent more than four years. Prior to this he worked at Turkish OEM manufacturer Vestel.
At GDHA, Edwards will be responsible for the continued development of the company’s OEM business and for exploring additional opportunities with new customers for all the business’s brands.

He will report to sales and marketing director David Garden, who commented on Edward’s appointment: “This is a key area for us to expand our business into new customers within the distribution and OEM channels, as well as trade merchants and larger independents. As well as managing current OEM clients, Tristan’s role will incorporate identifying, evaluating and developing new, incremental business in these areas and we are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
Sintered stone manufacturer Neolith has launched Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset, inspired by nature and classical architecture, and for use in kitchens or bathrooms walls, floors, in gardens or facades.
They belong to The New Classtone and Fusioncollections which interpret marble and natural stone, respectively, and boast Neolith’s antibacterial NeolEAT technology.
Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.
While the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey, with its rock formations formed by volcanoes and underground cities, has inspired Cappadocia Sunset (pictured below).
Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
