HiB has announced the appointment of Neil Whitehead as quality assurance manager, as part of its drive to uphold standards of product quality.

He has over a decade of experience in quality assurance, having worked with the likes of Walgreens Boots Alliance, and having gained multiple technical qualifications during his career to date.

Whitehead will be responsible for overseeing all elements of product quality, including compliance, supplier approval, and technical management, including the product technical support line.

With a team of eight staff working across quality control, product support, returns and supplier quality, he aims to refine existing processes and implementing innovative new quality control strategies.

Commenting on his  role, Whitehead said: “HiB is a business which is well-known for the quality of its products, and this is something which has been, and continues to be, key to its growth.

“I plan on taking a proactive approach to ensuring quality and compliance by creating a best in class team which supports every function of the business.

“Quality is about more than just the product, it’s about putting the customer at the heart of everything we do – I look forward to working with the entire HiB community and its suppliers to break new ground for quality in the bathroom sector.”
